The Food Gallery

Open Monday to Friday – 10 ‘til 4

“The Food Gallery is a new café based in and run by Burslem School of Art. Our aim is to provide a great place to meet and eat, work or relax and find out more about art and food.

Wherever possible we will choose quality ingredients, local suppliers, healthier options and to try something new. We hope to provide a relaxing atmosphere, Wi-Fi access and also cater for meetings, events and parties. Later this year we plan to grow some of our own food.

Since opening last December, we have been trying out our menus and making improvements to the café area. If we can help by adapting our products to fit with special dietary requirements or delivering directly to your workplace, let us know and we will see what we can do. We’re still learning so please let us know what you think.

And if you are a fan of good quality coffee we have some great news too – our frothy coffee machine is up and running and ready to serve cappuccinos, lattes and hot chocolate. Our thanks go to Burslem Community Development Trust for donating most of the cost of the machine.

As part of the Burslem School of Art Trust, the café is a social enterprise and any profits will be reinvested in the business and used to support local businesses and to develop skills and audiences for the arts.

We are still looking for volunteers so if you have a passion for food, some time on your hands or want to gain skills and experience in catering let us know.
