INTRODUCTION
To open every event we will select a leading practitioner to present their work. For the
launch event March 2012 , ANDY DAVIES BBC Radio 2 presenter and producer of the
Jonathan Ross radio programme. Andy also works with ABIGAIL WELLS-DAVIES as
an artist manager and between them they have an impressive portfolio of internationally
acclaimed work they have supported and developed.

DEBATE AND PANEL DISCUSSION
Cre8NET/ will be a great opportunity to debate key issues facing the Creative industries
nationally and in the North Staffs. Air your views in a public forum chaired by
Cath Ralph - Burslem School of Art CEO. The panel will be selected for each event
in accordance with their expertise in relation to the topic. The first event will discuss
the Highs and Lows for Creative Industry and in particular resilience during the
recession.

PROGRAMME: CREATIVE INDUSTRIES
For those of you who want the opportunity to develop your ideas, the Artist Professional
Development Programme: Creative Industries is for you. The 5-day programme includes
guest speakers, master classes and action learning and will support you to develop your spark
of an idea. Delivered by Staffordshire University, you will have an opportunity to host a
showcase event to market your creative idea, research your project with industry professionals and get a chance to meet some really useful people!
